Summer Fun

I can't believe how quickly this summer has flown past us! We are so thankful to have been kept so busy by our lovely clients :) So far the past month has been a delightful mix of weddings, engagements, babies, maternity, and kiddos.  What more could we ask for? Here's a few of our favorites:
 { Baby Brendon }
We actually had this session scheduled as a maternity shoot but Baby B decided to make his debut just a little too early!  SO, we turned it into a newborn session which turned out SO great.  You just never know with newborns, but in between a couple of feedings & diaper changes, he graced us with both sleeping & awake pictures, both of which I was equally in love with!  Both of Brendon's parents served in the Army so we incorporated that into his session.  Be still my heart! We are so thankful for our service men & women and the sacrifices they make for our freedom.

{Josh & Emily}
I also got to do a few maternity shots for my sweet friend, Emily & her hubby just a couple weeks before their sweet baby boy got here.  She had the cutest belly & we ended up with a beautiful day for a shoot.  I got to try out some of my new actions which I am totally in love with! The color they brought out on this overcast day was just amayzinggg!

{Cole & Kelsey's Wedding}
This was such a fun, adorable backyard wedding!  Kortney & I split up & I followed the girls around while she followed the boys around.  This worked really well for us & even though the lighting was not ideal (we were shooting at exactly mid-day in Colorado...HA!) we ended up with lots of special shots for Cole & Kelsey.

{Jade & Jolene Engagements}
This sweet couple met each other 16 years ago, fell in love, were separated and 15 years later reunited & got engaged!  We are so honored to be shooting their wedding in October.  This was a fantastic session for us-- they were very easy to work with AND we shot at "golden hour" so we had GORGEOUS light to work with.

{The Shupe Family}
We got to shoot this session in Old Towne Arvada, CO-- which is a lovely little area for a photo shoot :) This couple adopted their two oldest children, thinking they couldn't have children of their own... and when their second one was 7, they were surprised to be pregnant with their third child & 16 months later they welcomed their fourth :) I just love how God puts families together just perfectly!
